Want To Get Better, Improve? Embrace Accountability!

Do you have someone in your life that constantly holds you to your word? Keep them close, you’re better with them in your life. It might feel like they’re always pushing you to stick to your word, the truth is they probably are, but that is essential to ensure you’re accountable for your choices.

John Maxwell adds this important perspective toward the end of this great video: “Accountability is for the person who really wants to get better. People who really want to get better and improve welcome accountability. And, people who don’t want to get better and don’t want to improve; they don’t want accountability. I think it [accountability] is essential.” I think this statement is spot-on and so powerful to use as a measure in seeing how others accept or deny accountability and even better, it is a mirror to be clear about our own thoughts and actions.

Good day to you! I’m Bart Nollenberger, and one of my most profound mentors is and has been John C. Maxwell and others in the John Maxwell Team. This is why I chose to become an Executive Director as part of The John Maxwell Team. I have the privilege of offering my services as a mentor to many and one of the easiest ways this is done is through MasterMind Groups.

I do many MasterMind Group sessions on The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth. See more at the link below and get in touch with me regarding the next session, or any other of the many John Maxwell Team coaching and mentoring that I offer.
